Daily routine

Greeting:

Good morning my friend, How are you?
Fine, thanks!
It is a greeting of friendship,
-That's well.
We will do the possible to do as more friends.
Good morning my friend, How are you?
-Very well.

Song:

We start the day with a smile

This is the way we start the day,
Start the day, start the day.
This the way we start the day,
So early in the morning.
First we smile and shake a hand,
Shake a hand, shake a hand.
First we smile and shake a hand,
So early in the morning.
Then we sit down quietly,
Quietly, Quietly
Then we sit down quietly,
So early in the morning.
We listen very Carefully,
Carefully, Carefully.
We listen very carefully,
So early in the morning.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank you so much for another day of life.
Thank you for ways in which you provide all for us.
For Your protection and love we thank you.
Help us to focus our hearts and minds now
on what we are about to learn.
Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and talk.
Guide us by your eternal light
as we discover more about the world around us.
You are a wonderful God, full of grace and mercy.
I praise you for allowing me another day to spend with my family,
my friends and my teachers.
I love you Father!
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ,
my Lord and Savior. Amen.

WAYS TO BE QUIET DURING THE CLASSES

“Check” We listen with our eyes, ears, mouth, hands and body. If I am talking, all those things need to be listening. If a student is not doing that while I am talking, I just say, “check” which means she has to check her body as something is not doing the right thing.

Easy as 1, 2, 3: When I say, “1 2 3 Eyes on Me”, then you have to respond “1 2 Eyes on you” from where I expect silence.

Clap and Count: “If you can hear my voice, clap once. (Girls clap)                  If you can hear my voice, clap twice (clap-clap).
If you can hear my voice, clap three times (clap-clap-clap).”

1-2-3- clap method. As soon as you hear me say 1, you’ll put both hands on your head, 2 – you’ll raise both hands in the air ready to clap and 3 – you all clap together 3 times and the next speaker is ready to talk.

Hello everyone!
My name is Yirley Yurany Mora Contreras, I am a B.A in English student at the University of Tolima. Besides, I am a teacher and in this moment I'm working as a pre-service teacher at Liceo Nacional School; it is a very interesting job because it lets me learn from my students and help other teachers.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books about God, working to help children and poor people through "Organización Juvenil Red" and I also love sharing time with my friends.
As you know I am colombian; I was born on Valparaiso-Caquetá on March 9th, 1992. However, I consider Ibagué as my home because I live here since I was 11 years old.
Regarding my family, it is a little complicated, I used to live with my older brother, but he is working in Cali right now. So, I can say I live alone because I do not live with my parents. They are living too far: My mother lives in Italy with my little brother and my stepfather, in regard  my father, he is living at Nariño with my three sisters and one of my brothers. For that reason, I consider my friends, my students and my teachers as the only family that my dear Lord have given me in this city.

I hope this short description of my life can help you to know who I am. Now, I want to invite you to introduce yourself.

ASSIGNMENT: Taking into account the vocabulary given in the mind map, write a composition about the most important aspects of your life.
